We're looking for a Chief of Staff to serve as a strategic partner to our founder and leadership team. This role sits at the center of the company—supporting Darren Aronofsky while working closely with the President Head of Operations to keep the business running smoothly as we scale.

This is an ideal role for someone who loves bringing order to fast-moving organizations, thrives in ambiguity, and wants a front-row seat to building an ambitious creative technology company from the ground up.

The Role

As Chief of Staff, you'll help coordinate the day-to-day operating rhythm of the company. You'll ensure leadership has the information, context, and follow-through needed to make decisions quickly while helping execute many of the administrative and operational functions that allow the company to scale.

You'll spend part of your time supporting Darren directly—managing priorities, communications, meeting preparation, and follow-up—and part of your time partnering with the President and Head of Operations across company operations, finance, HR, and strategic initiatives.

This role is based in New York City and works in person with our leadership team.

What You'll Do

Founder Support

• Manage Darren's professional calendar, priorities, and meeting cadence.

• Attend internal and external meetings, capture notes, document decisions, and coordinate follow-up.

• Prepare meeting briefs, research, and background materials.

• Help prioritize inbound opportunities, partnerships, introductions, and requests.

• Serve as a communication bridge between Darren, the leadership team, and external partners.

Strategic Operations

• Partner closely with the President and Head of Operations to execute company-wide operational priorities.

• Coordinate recurring leadership meetings, planning sessions, and company offsites.

• Help manage HR operations, recruiting coordination, onboarding, and people initiatives.

• Partner with finance and engineering leadership to support operational workflows, including vendor management, accounts payable, and tools such as Bill.com.

• Track operational projects across teams and ensure information flows efficiently between leadership.

• Prepare leadership updates, internal communications, and documentation.

• Jump into whatever needs doing—from organizing a board meeting to coordinating a product launch to helping improve an internal process.

What We're Looking For

• 4–8 years of experience in strategy, consulting, startup operations, business operations, Chief of Staff, Executive Business Partner, or similar roles.

• MBA or equivalent business experience is a strong plus.

• Exceptional organizational and project management skills.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication.

• Strong business judgment and the ability to prioritize effectively.

• Comfortable working with executives, creatives, investors, engineers, and external partners.

• Highly resourceful, proactive, and energized by solving complex operational problems.

• Thrives in startup environments where no two days are the same.

Nice to Have

• Experience working directly with a founder or executive leadership team.

• Background in both technology and media, entertainment, or creative industries.

• Experience supporting finance, HR, or company operations.

• Familiarity with tools such as Bill.com, Gusto, Notion, Linear, Google Workspace, Slack, and modern startup operations.

• Interest in AI, filmmaking, and the future of storytelling.
